Location:
Miami Springs, FL A well-established company in the environmental services industry is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist . This role is ideal for a professional with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to support growth and digitization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process accurate client invoices in compliance with company procedures, ensuring timely revenue recognition. Maintain up-to-date AR records , including aging reports, credits, and collections. Manage daily cash applications , including bank deposit recordings and payment allocations. Proactively engage with customers via phone and email to request payments, resolve disputes, and strengthen client relationships. Reconcile customer payments and accounts to ensure financial accuracy. File Notice to Owner liens and maintain accurate lien records. Prepare and review detailed AR Aging Reports with leadership on a weekly basis. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Accounting teams to ensure efficient invoicing and payment collection. Uphold integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting. Support ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as needed. Report directly to the AR Manager .
Qualifications:
? 5+ years of Accounts Receivable/Billing experience (required: construction or contracting industry ). ? Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards . ? Bilingual (English & Spanish) – professional proficiency required. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software ( QuickBooks, Foundation preferred ). ? Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment .
