Job description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive in-house Bookkeeper to support core accounting functions, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate financial data and maintaining compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with the close timeline Define and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring completeness and accuracy Analyze and process third-party reports to record revenue, COGS, and inventory transactions; reconcile deferred revenue as needed Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and ensure proper documentation Perform variance analysis on financial results and provide monthly reporting insights Support internal and external audits, including financial and tax audits Assist in maintaining and monitoring internal controls and compliance processes Prepare monthly royalty reports Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
Mandatory:
American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) certification, or the Certified Bookkeeper (CB) certification from AIPB, or the Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with accounting software and intermediate to advanced Excel skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
