The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This position requires proficiency in Quickbooks, construction billing is a MUST Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to reflect financial transactions. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Preparation of tax documents and filings including payroll taxes and quarterly returns Preparation of Notice to Owners. Closeout documents to include lien releases and warranties Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing reports. Provide assistance during workers comp audits by preparing necessary documentation. Experience Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role within financial services. Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and practices. Proficient in using financial software, particularly Quickbooks Strong understanding of Construction Pay Applications.. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders.
