Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Winter Park, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the non-profit industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while gaining valuable experience. The ideal candidate will excel in managing invoices, processing payments, and supporting accounts payable and receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain accurate invoice data in the financial system.
• Process payments and ensure timely posting to appropriate accounts.
• Verify insurance information to ensure compliance with billing procedures.
• Manage medical billing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure financial records are up to date.
• Process invoices efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting functions. Requirements
• Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial data management.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures and practices.
• Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Experience with invoice processing and payment posting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for managing financial spreadsheets.
• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks for accounting operations.
