Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this contract to permanent role, you will play a key part in managing accurate and efficient financial processes for our organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Process and code invoices accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform regular check runs and manage payment schedules effectively.
- Enter data into financial systems with precision and maintain organized records.
- Ensure charges are accurately attributed to the correct locations using General Ledger (GL) codes.
- Collaborate with team members to handle three-way matching and invoice processing.
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy of financial reports and documentation.
- Support the finance team with other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Proficiency in handling account reconciliation and invoice processing.
- Strong familiarity with General Ledger (GL) codes and three-way matching.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and analysis.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
- Skilled in data entry with a focus on accuracy and organization.
- Understanding of payment processes, including check runs and coding invoices.
