Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator
Verify, review, and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and maintain accurate vendor account information as an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
Prepare and distribute accounts payable checks and manage electronic payments.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions to ensure success in the Accounts Payable Coordinator role.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including preparing and filing forms.
Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for management.
Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit processes.
Coordinate with the field AP team and provide feedback for process improvements.
Support the ERP conversion to Sage Intacct for enhanced efficiency as an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
Requirements for the Accounts Payable Coordinator
3+ years of experience in accounts payable, ideally in an Accounts Payable Coordinator capacity.
Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills (assessment required).
Construction industry experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Titanium, or similar accounting tools is a plus.

Education:

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
