Health, Dental, Vision Sanford Rose is looking for a talented full cycle AP Specialist to join a great client of ours within the healthcare industry. This organization has been growing rapidly and due to promoting within, has opened a spot on their team. This role is great for someone who enjoys a collaborative culture, fast paced AP duties, and a large company environment.
Responsibilities :
Manage full-cycle accounts payable functions, including timely and accurate processing of invoices. Monitor and manage the AP inbox, handling up to 500 emails weekly. Index and route invoices for approval and processing in accordance with company policies. Process both Purchase Order (PO) and Non-PO invoices. Respond to vendor inquiries, request and review vendor statements, and reconcile accounts as needed. Serve as a point of contact for consultants regarding AP-related inquiries. Collaborate with the AP and finance team to support Orthopedic Center operations; cross-train to assist with Imaging Center functions. Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including the purpose and application of AP accruals. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and invoice processing. Ability to learn and navigate legacy systems, specifically Lawson. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
