Are you a detail-oriented and analyticalprofessional with a knack for financial data? We are seeking anexperienced Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join ourdynamic and fast-paced team. The idealcandidate has a strong background in matching and batchinginvoices, coding to the general ledger, and data entry of vendorinformation in an ERP system.

Responsibilities:

As a ConsultingAccounts Payable Specialist, your primary responsibility will be toprovide accurate and efficient accounts payable services to ourclients.

You will be entrusted with:

1. Processing, matching, andbatching invoices in a timely and accurate manner. 2. Codinginvoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts. 3. Performingdata entry of vendor information into the ERP system. 4. Reviewingand reconciling vendor statements. 5. Handling vendor inquiries andresolving any discrepancies in billing. 6. Preparing and processingelectronic transfers and payments. 7. Maintaining accurate andorganized accounts payable files. 8. Assisting in month-end closingactivities. 9. Providing support and guidance to junior accountspayable staff.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, youwill need a combination of education, experience, and skillsincluding: 1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or arelated field. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accountspayable or a related role. 3. Proven experience with matching andbatching invoices, coding to the general ledger, and data entry ofvendor information in an ERP system. 4. Strong knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices. 5. Excellent data entry skillswith a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 6.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. 7.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolvediscrepancies efficiently. 8. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. 9. Ability to work effectively bothindependently and as part of a team. 10. Ability to handle multipletasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
