Overview:

Insight Global is hiring for an AP Specialist I to support our client’s team in the Orlando, FL area. This individual will process vendor invoices in ERP systems, with attention to details, reasonableness, and appropriate authorization.

Must Haves:

1+ years of experience in accounts payable ERP system experience High school diploma or equivalent High volume experience (processing invoices) Eager to work/learn Day to Day Processes invoices in the Accounts Payable system, ensuring timely and accurate handling. Opens and scans incoming mail (USPS) and systematically processes electronic invoices. Verifies data using optical character recognition software, consistently meeting departmental standards. Researches and codes non-purchase order invoices appropriately. Investigates vendor statements and communicates with vendors to obtain copies of unprocessed or aged invoices. Identifies new vendors and accounts, requesting Distribution Codes as needed for invoice processing. Communicates effectively with managers, peers, and trainers. Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. Handles special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance for the Accounts Payable department. Maintains regular and punctual attendance in line with company policies, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
