Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:  A/P – Daily invoice entries, weekly check runs, account reconciliations against vendor statements. Match packing slips against purchase orders.  Receives and verify expense reports; reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.  Facilitate payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, review purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.  Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.  Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.  Administrative duties including answering telephones and customer service through Envision  Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.  Respond to emails from customers in a professional manner.  Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Qualifications include:

 BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent work experience will be accepted.  Proven bookkeeping experience.  Intermediate MS Office experience with solid ability to create and manage excel spreadsheets.  Epicor (ERP) Accounting software experience a plus.  Candidate must have a firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles.  Ability to perform mathematical operations, analytical and problem-solving skills.  Strong written and oral communication.  Organization and attention to detail.  Customer Service oriented. Key Accountabilities  Ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.  Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral  Ability to work independently, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.  High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  Must be organized and practice good housekeeping daily.  Must be able to work at least 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.  Must be able to work overtime as required based on department needs.
