Bookkeeper:
As a Bookkeeper, your day-to-day work will involve: Maintaining accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients. Recording daily transactions including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments. Reconciling bank and credit card statements to ensure up-to-date records. Posting journal entries and managing both accounts payable and receivable. Categorizing expenses and transactions to support clear client reporting. Preparing monthly financial reports such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets. Communicating with clients to gather necessary documentation or clarify discrepancies. Coordinating with financial advisors to assist in planning and forecasting. Successful Bookkeeper:
To thrive in this Bookkeeper role, candidates should have: 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant, preferably in a client-facing or multi-entity environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas. A proactive mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with precision. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
