Full Time The Executive Bookkeeper will play a crucial dual-role at Spartan Race, Inc., overseeing essential financial functions while also providing high-level administrative and personal financial support to the CEO. This position requires a seasoned bookkeeping professional with impeccable organizational skills, discretion, and flexibility. This is not a traditional Monday-Friday role; the ideal candidate is adaptable and comfortable supporting a high-performance executive environment that operates outside standard business hours.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Financial Duties Maintain and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy. Process invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements promptly. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Manage vendor accounts and track payment schedules. Conduct periodic audits of financial data and records. Ensure compliance with all internal controls and accounting regulations. CEO Financial & Administrative Support Provide personal financial assistance to the CEO, including managing expense tracking and reporting. Support administrative tasks such as calendar coordination, document preparation, and vendor communications related to personal or executive matters. Assist in managing sensitive and confidential financial information with the utmost discretion. Be available outside typical business hours as needed to support the dynamic and fast-paced schedule of the CEO. Project Coordination & Management Support and manage internal and external projects from concept through execution. Create timelines, track progress, and manage deliverables. Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or staff accounting roles. Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks experience preferred. Solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Additional Attributes Flexibility and willingness to work non-traditional hours. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
