The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering financial transactions daily, reconciling accounts, generating financial statements, and communicating effectively with our small team.

Responsibilities:
  • Enter/Post accounts payable & account receivable transactions daily using a legacy software program that is soon to be upgraded
  • Create, organize, and maintain vendor and customer files
  • Communicate with customers/vendors about their accounts when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with the team to provide financial information and insights as needed
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approx. 150+ employees (Paylocity)
  • Provide onboarding for new hires
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting with a minimum of five years’ experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel & Word
  • Experience with Paylocity or other payroll systems
  • Willingness to adapt to current software and/or learn new software and other operational systems
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Experience with some data mining, query building, or report writing, would be helpful.
  • Some experience with Microsoft SQL or other SQL server would also be helpful
  • Spanish speaking a plus This is an onsite part-time or full time position, we are flexible for the right candidate.
