The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering financial transactions daily, reconciling accounts, generating financial statements, and communicating effectively with our small team.
Responsibilities:
- Enter/Post accounts payable & account receivable transactions daily using a legacy software program that is soon to be upgraded
- Create, organize, and maintain vendor and customer files
- Communicate with customers/vendors about their accounts when necessary
- Communicate effectively with the team to provide financial information and insights as needed
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approx. 150+ employees (Paylocity)
- Provide onboarding for new hires
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting with a minimum of five years’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Excel & Word
- Experience with Paylocity or other payroll systems
- Willingness to adapt to current software and/or learn new software and other operational systems
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Experience with some data mining, query building, or report writing, would be helpful.
- Some experience with Microsoft SQL or other SQL server would also be helpful
- Spanish speaking a plus This is an onsite part-time or full time position, we are flexible for the right candidate.
