Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor records, processing payment requests, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain vendor files by processing new vendor setups, reactivations, and modifications to existing records.
• Ensure all vendor setup requests are complete, obtaining necessary signatures and verifying accuracy before entry into the tracking system.
• Input data from source documents into the system, verifying accuracy and resolving any errors promptly.
• Review and assess payment requests to confirm appropriateness and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address and resolve inquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
• Determine the most suitable payment methods, such as P-Cards or company payments, for each request.
• Assist field teams with inquiries related to preferred vendors and payment procedures.
• Organize, file, and scan vendor-related documents, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Perform additional clerical duties, including typing and document organization, as needed.
• Support other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounts payable, customer service, and data entry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to quickly solve problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Experience with tasks such as account reconciliation, invoice processing, data entry, and coding invoices.
