Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term stability. The role involves managing key accounts payable processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and record invoices with precision, ensuring all entries align with accounting standards.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and update batching details to facilitate timely payment approvals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders.
- Support general ledger maintenance by accurately coding invoices and transactions.
- Coordinate regular check runs, maintaining accurate payment records and reconciling vendor accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls while documenting accounts payable activities for audits and management reporting.
- Utilize Sage 100 software for accounts payable tasks, with training provided as necessary. Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
- Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.
- Ability to learn and adapt to Sage 100 software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
