Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term stability. The role involves managing key accounts payable processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and record invoices with precision, ensuring all entries align with accounting standards.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and update batching details to facilitate timely payment approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders.
  • Support general ledger maintenance by accurately coding invoices and transactions.
  • Coordinate regular check runs, maintaining accurate payment records and reconciling vendor accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls while documenting accounts payable activities for audits and management reporting.
  • Utilize Sage 100 software for accounts payable tasks, with training provided as necessary. Requirements
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to Sage 100 software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
