Accounts Payable Clerk Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Delray Beach, Florida. This role focuses on managing high-volume invoice processing and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Responsibilities:

• Process and manage approximately 250 accounts payable invoices weekly with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform three-way matching to validate purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Utilize Sage Intacct software to handle accounts payable functions and ensure proper coding of invoices.
• Reconcile financial accounts regularly, including online banking integrations with Chase and Citi.
• Conduct check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Use intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills for tasks such as data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Maintain detailed records of transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Support the integration of financial systems and assist with troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the accounts payable process. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable with a solid understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and familiarity with other accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
• Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions efficiently.
• Knowledge of online banking platforms, particularly Chase and Citi, is preferred.
• Ability to perform three-way matching and maintain accurate financial records.
• Associate degree in accounting or a related field is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
