The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting skills to maintain the integrity of our financial records. Duties Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments while adhering to company policies. Perform journal entries and maintain accurate records in the general ledger. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits in compliance with SOX regulations. Utilize accounting software such as Quicken, Kronos, or Ceridian for efficient processing of accounts payable tasks. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any payment-related inquiries or issues. Maintain organized documentation for all accounts payable transactions for future reference. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting principles. Experience with corporate accounting practices is highly desirable. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quicken, Kronos, or Ceridian. Familiarity with SOX compliance standards is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
