Accounts Payable Specialist Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a Contract position within the dynamic real estate and property management industry. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in managing financial transactions across multiple properties nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices for accuracy, ensuring all data aligns with supporting documentation.
• Post transactions into the accounting system while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Handle accounts payable duties for approximately 50-75 invoices daily, collaborating with team members to meet deadlines.
• Participate actively in team meetings, providing insights and maintaining focus on organizational priorities.
• Utilize basic Excel functions and formulas to organize and analyze financial data.
• Work closely with various banking institutions to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support construction-related accounts payable processes and projects as needed.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all tasks. Requirements
• Experience with accounts payable processes, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data organization.
• Ability to manage high volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to contribute actively in meetings and team discussions.
• Previous experience in real estate, property management, or construction industries is a plus.
• Capacity to adapt and learn complex systems over time.
