The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. Duties Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with journal entries related to accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with the human resources department to manage payroll-related entries and ensure accurate reporting. Utilize accounting software such as Paychex and ADP for efficient processing of payments. Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions and documentation. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable processes to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Provide support during tax preparation by gathering necessary documentation related to accounts payable. Utilize Kronos for timekeeping and payroll management as needed. Perform 10 key typing accurately to ensure efficient data entry. Requirements Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance related to accounts payable processes is preferred. Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation practices. Familiarity with accounting software such as Paychex, ADP, or similar systems. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to perform journal entries accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of human resources processes as they relate to payroll management is a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with team members across departments.
