Accounts Receivable Clerk Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage customer accounts and ensure accurate billing, payment collection, and application processes to join our client’s team. This role is essential to maintaining the company’s financial operations and requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record customer payments and transactions in the accounts receivable system.
• Generate and submit invoices to customers in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain and update customer account records, including changes to contact information or account status.
• Prepare reports on account statuses and outstanding balances as requested.
• Investigate account discrepancies and overdue payments in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Assist in reconciling accounts receivable balances on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy.
• Support the preparation of monthly billing statements based on general ledger data.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile revenue accounts on a monthly basis.
• Organize and retrieve accounts receivable documentation as needed.
• Communicate updates and account changes to relevant team members. Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Familiarity with office equipment, including computers and calculators.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in anticipating workload needs and maintaining professionalism with clients.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with account reconciliation and billing processes.
• Knowledge of cash applications and collections procedures.
