ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining all aspects of client accounts including AR aging & billing, business submission and account reconciliations.

MUST KNOW EXCEL

Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of billing and cash collections for assigned accounts Resolve business submission disconnects with missing application information and erroneous electronic data Investigate, reconcile, and balance all assigned accounts Process daily cash receipts and apply to the correct account Proactively make collection calls and prepare delinquent notices Work with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding balances Make clear and concise notations on accounts to document your work after each telephone or email communication Correspond with customers in writing (email) and via telephone effectively Audit incoming payment transactions Recognize significant credit risks and when to escalate Maintain acceptable AR aging for assigned book of business Work with the department manager to evaluate and implement billing and payment automation where possible Possess excellent organization and time management skills

Requirements:

High School Diploma, some college preferred 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience Knowledge of accounts receivable/collections Proficiency with Excel (must be familiar with VLOOKUP function) Must be able to work “hands-on” in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment What NSD can provide:
