Full Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Location:

Boca Raton, Florida Full-Time | In-Office Position A mid-sized law firm is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, tracking receivables, and ensuring the accurate and timely collection of outstanding balances. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and record all accounts receivable transactions accurately Prepare and send client invoices in a timely and professional manner Monitor client accounts for outstanding balances and follow-up on overdue payments Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records Manage a small team responsible for collecting receivables, ensuring prompt collection and proper application of payments Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, legal requirements, and accounting standards Collaborate with the CFO and partners on financial reporting and collections strategy Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information Perform other related duties as assigned by the CFO or partners

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience in legal or professional services firms is a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced office environment Willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies and software tools
