Accounts Receivable Specialist 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Boca Raton, FL 33431 • Hybrid work Job Summary The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments, maintaining customer accounts, and supporting the overall revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, contributing to the financial health of the company. Duties Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently. Perform account analysis to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy in customer accounts. Maintain and update customer records in the accounting system, including data entry tasks. Assist in credit analysis to evaluate customer creditworthiness and manage risk. Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve cash flow. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls related to accounts receivable processes. Support double entry bookkeeping practices to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and revenue cycle metrics as needed. Skills Proficient in revenue cycle management principles and practices. Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements. Excellent math skills for accurate financial calculations. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for effective account management. Ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports. Experience in public accounting is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry tasks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
