Accounting Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable dealership in West Palm Beach . This role requires prior experience in automotive accounting and offers a pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile schedules such as inventory, floor plans, and bank statements. Post vehicle sales, wholesale deals, and dealer trades. Handle title and registration paperwork in compliance with state regulations. Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews. Collaborate with sales, service, and parts departments to ensure accurate financial data.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of automotive accounting experience required. Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack). Strong understanding of accounting principles and dealership operations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Pay Details:
