Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Boca Raton, Florida. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in both financial and administrative operations, while also contributing to the automation and optimization of processes. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, a strong aptitude for technology, and the ability to support various business functions in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain vendor relationships and handle vendor account maintenance.
- Assist in preparing revenue analyses and other financial reports, with training provided as needed.
- Support the creation of new accounts and handle related paperwork efficiently.
- Contribute to onboarding and HR-related tasks as required.
- Manage administrative projects, including maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize Sage Intacct software to manage financial records and processes.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Occasionally work on-site in Boca Raton, Florida, as needed. Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct software or similar accounting platforms.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Ability to handle data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exposure to payroll processing and related functions.
- Tech-savvy mindset with experience using tools like ChatGPT or similar technologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
