Accounting Coordinator Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting essential financial processes for a wholesale distribution company. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise while contributing to the success of a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices to customers with accuracy and timeliness.
• Record cash collections based on bank statements, ensuring proper reconciliation.
• Match purchase order vouchers to corresponding invoices to maintain accurate records.
• Handle manual voucher postings and verify their compliance with company standards.
• Process cash disbursements as reflected in bank statements and maintain detailed documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and reporting of sales and use tax filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to policies. Requirements
• Strong understanding of accounting functions, including AP and AR processes.
• Experience with auditing and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics for financial tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a wholesale distribution or similar industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax reporting processes.
