This role offers a dynamic opportunity to support accounting operations with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial tasks, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with leadership to maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Generate invoices in QuickBooks and coordinate with customers for timely billing. Process payments received via electronic transfers and checks, ensuring accurate application to accounts. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identify overdue accounts, and support collections. Code and process electronic bills, match invoices against purchase orders or sales orders, and manage payments in QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and credit card reconciliations as a backup. Learn and manage tax filings, state audits, and regulatory compliance tasks. Collaborate with leadership to handle state license renewals, tax filings, and audit processes. Maintain consistent and organized documentation for all financial and operational activities. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles. Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Strong skills in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel. Experience with bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. Ability to manage data entry tasks with high attention to detail. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and team members.
