Accounts Receivable Clerk Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a remote client. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoicing and payment processes for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, maintaining clear communication with clients.
• Accurately apply incoming payments, such as bank wires, to corresponding open invoices.
• Organize and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records and documentation.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to invoicing and payments with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and collection processes.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Utilize systems like Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel for managing AR tasks and reporting Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software like Sage Intacct.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with B2B invoicing and payment applications is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with cash applications and commercial collections processes.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues related to accounts receivable.
