AR/AP Specialist Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & McQuaid, PA Saint Petersburg, FL 33707 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. Maintain accounts receivable records, ensuring all transactions are documented in accordance with GAAP. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in billing or payment issues. Prepare and send out invoices to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Assist in the management of the revenue cycle, tracking outstanding payments and following up as necessary. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations. Utilize technical accounting skills to support financial reporting and compliance with SOX regulations. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently. Stay updated on financial services trends and coding practices relevant to accounts receivable. Qualifications Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is a Plus Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively. Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial concepts is preferred Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in an accounts receivable role or related field is desirable.
