Bookkeeper Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Clearwater, Florida, on a Contract-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records. The position begins fully onsite, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement at the manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.
• Manage payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
• Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Input and organize financial data to maintain accurate and accessible records.
• Prepare reports and summaries for management review.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting operations. Requirements
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and account reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
