Job Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting financial decision-making within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly, identifying and resolving discrepancies Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries, tracking project-related expenses Assist in financial statement preparation, reporting, and budget management for various construction projects Generate job cost reports and analyze variances to help project managers maintain budgets Ensure compliance with tax regulations, construction contracts, and industry standards Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications:
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel Strong knowledge of job costing, GAAP, and financial reporting Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills #ZRCFS #
