Finance Clerk/Bookkeeper Position Summary Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Finance Clerk assists in the ongoing maintenance of internal records and reports and in the preparation and maintenance of records and schedules for all agency accounts and programs. The Finance Clerk assists all other positions in the department to process any pending tasks. Record Keeping & Organization:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, files, and databases.
Transaction Processing:
Processing financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and other financial documentation.
Data Entry & Analysis:
Entering financial data into systems, and potentially performing basic data analysis and reporting.
Reconciliation & Verification:
Reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Invoice Management:
Receiving, processing, and verifying invoices.
Communication:
Communicating with accounting staff and managers. Required Education and Experience High School diploma with one year of accounting clerk experience, or an associate degree in accounting. Effectively communicate via email. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast- paced environment Well organized and structured IND1
