Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Prepare and maintain financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Utilize accounting software, including Quicken, to manage financial transactions efficiently. Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Maintain organized financial records for audit purposes. Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Strong knowledge of governmental accounting practices is preferred. Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and account reconciliation techniques. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Quicken, is a plus. Excellent financial report writing skills to communicate findings effectively. Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
