My client is an established organization with $30MM in annual revenue specializing in government contracting services. They’re modernizing their accounting operations and need a skilled AR Lead to drive this initiative.
POSITION SUMMARY
I’m seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Lead to own AR operations in a high-volume environment managing $2MM in monthly receivables across 40,000+ annual transactions, focusing on government billing and electronic invoice processing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead complete AR lifecycle from invoicing through payment collection and reconciliation Process high-volume transactions (40,000+ annually) with exceptional accuracy Manage electronic invoice submissions through government procurement platforms Maintain payment tracking, aging analysis, and month-end closing procedures Serve as AR subject matter expert within an 8-person team Report to CPA leadership and coordinate with external accounting support
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years progressive AR experience, preferably high-transaction environments Proficiency with accounting software and electronic procurement platforms Strong technical aptitude for independent work in digital systems Success in process-oriented, detail-intensive roles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Government contracting or public sector billing experience Experience with electronic invoice submission systems Background serving government clients Exceptional attention to detail and methodical problem-solving approach
