We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive pay rate of $20 – $23 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume invoice processing and will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently. Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues. Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Support the finance team with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work 100% onsite in
