Construction Accounts Receivable Specialist Outdoor Living Products, Inc. 2155 South Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage all aspects of accounts receivable. This role is responsible for ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate customer and job records, and supporting lien and notice processes. Duties Manages all communications related to incoming customer payments Maintains accurate and organized records of customer accounts Builds and maintains a professional, courteous rapport with customers and team members to support timely collections and meet deadlines Sends payment reminders and notices for upcoming due dates Processes customer payments and updates account information promptly and accurately Oversees collections efforts for past-due or outstanding accounts Enters new customer details and sets up jobs in the accounting system Supports monthly closing procedures and generates customer account statements Prepares and issues Notices to Owner (NTO) in compliance with industry timelines and requirements Maintains a tracking system for Notices of Commencement (NOC) and NTOs to ensure lien deadlines are met Collaborates with sales staff and their customers to facilitate payment resolution and account management Demonstrates professionalism and teamwork in all interactions with coworkers Monitors customer accounts for late payments, irregularities, and discrepancies Responds promptly and professionally to accounts receivable inquiries Ensures the confidentiality and security of all customer information Assists with incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate person or department Provides support for additional accounting functions as assigned by the Office Manager Skills Strong understanding of revenue cycle management principles. Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
