Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in DeLand, Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for various financial and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing processes. This role is especially suitable for those with experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of incoming payments
- Manage the creation and distribution of invoices to clients or customers promptly and accurately
- Handle invoices, payment schedules, and vendor communications for timely payments
- Organize, move, scan, and save files, both physical and digital, for effective record-keeping
- Fill out and email permit-related forms, ensuring accuracy in documentation for approvals
- Provide additional administrative support as needed, including filing and ensuring compliance with company procedures Requirements
- Recent and relevant experience in accounting/bookkeeper role handling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Permitting and/or construction experience a plus
