Accounts Receivable Specialist 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Miramar Beach, FL 32550 Virtuous Management Group is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. Responsibilities Posting of homeowners and miscellaneous payments into our accounting system Upload daily lockbox Scanning of posted checks to the bank Posting of NSF charges and generate notification to the owners Proven ability to calculate and post accounting figures Creating check requests for refunds to owners Send billing, statements and late notices to owners Provide customer service to owners inquiring about their account Meet deadlines in a timely manner Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Skills Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software Proficiency in English and in MS Office Customer service orientation and negotiation skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
Customer service skills Previous experience with Accounts Receivable Accurate data entry skills Must have experience with collections This is an office environment position requiring a daily commute to Miramar Beach. It is a full-time position with benefits effective the first on the month following a 30 day waiting period . 401(k) eligible after one year of tenure.
