The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent data entry skills. The Accounts Payable Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Process invoices and ensure accurate coding to the general ledger. Perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist in month-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation. Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth processing of payments. Utilize accounting software such as DealerTrack for various accounting functions. Support accounts receivable functions as needed, including tracking payments and managing customer accounts. Skills Proficient in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation processes and corporate accounting principles. Familiarity with debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping methods. Experience with accounting software such as DealerTrack is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
