This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise who thrives in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in managing financial transactions, invoicing, and account reconciliation across multiple business units. Duties Manage the full accounts receivable process , including high-volume invoicing with proper documentation, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Utilize QuickBooks Online to record transactions, generate reports, and track receivables across multiple client contracts. Communicate with clients/customers regarding payments and outstanding balances, assisting with collection efforts. Conduct thorough account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and completeness. Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and aging receivables across five business units. Perform account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in financial forecasting to support planning initiatives. Support monthly sales tax filings at local, state, and federal levels.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). 3+ years of accounting experience. Proficiency in cash-basis accounting and financial management. Strong understanding of account reconciliation principles. Experience with QuickBooks Online, Concur, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive). Ability to analyze financial data accurately and generate reports. Highly detail-oriented , with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment. Experience in engineering, electrical contracting, or construction industries is a plus.
