Position Overview:

Reinicke Athens Inc. is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Accounting Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to advance their skills and contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in-office in Athens, GA, with a lunch break. Some remote work is possible on a limited basis after training is completed.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a driven, detail-focused accounting professional ready to take the next step in their career. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at RAI, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our company and the success of our projects. This position offers the chance to work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, develop specialized skills in construction billing, and contribute to high-impact initiatives. We value team members who are self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow —whether through expanding their knowledge of industrial accounting or taking on more complex financial responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly customer invoicing, contract AIA billing forms, and lien waivers in collaboration with project managers Create and maintain spreadsheets to track job accounting progress for project managers and customers Maintain and update customer contact records Record and reconcile daily bank deposits Provide support to the accounting, finance, and project management teams as needed Organize and maintain job files for annual audits Perform data entry for new jobs, billing, job costs, and subcontracts Audit billing for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Generate and issue monthly billing statements Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and auditing skills 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience Experience with Construction Progress Billing and lien waivers is a plus Why Join RAI?
