We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations with administrative tasks, invoicing clients and creating financial reports for Project Managers. This position is perfect for someone who has experience in accounting ( construction or design consulting firm is a plus but not necessary), has strong communication skills, and is comfortable working with management and clients. We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Assist with bookkeeping tasks including maintaining accurate financial records. Process accounts payable and manage vendor invoices. Utilize accounting software (our office uses Ajera for engineering and architectural firms). Perform data entry tasks. Prepare and maintain financial reports. Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner. Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are properly stored and accessible. Skills Proficiency in accounting software; we will train on Ajera. Strong understanding of debits and credits. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel preferred.
