Manage and reconcile purchase card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy. Accurately assign accounting codes to vendor invoices, expense reports and purchase cards, ensuring proper financial reporting and record-keeping. Process and verify incoming invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness. Ensure timely payments to vendors through checks and ACH transfers, as well as handle payment inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and addressing issues. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards and prepare for audits. Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for cost savings. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field a plus Previous accounts payable experience preferred

Required Skills & Qualities:

Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly as they relate to accounts payable. Solid understanding of general ledger coding for invoices and expenses This will be a on-site position in Kennesaw GA
