www.espgauges.com Job purpose The Production Associate will work in a highly active distribution and production environment performing duties including product assembly and reworking products. Other assigned duties will include cleaning and handling of recycle/waste, and use of boxes, packaging, sealing equipment and plastic. The Associate must have basic computer skills. The Associate will take and follow instructions from a Production Supervisor, Lead or delegate. The Associate will be required to have attention to detail requiring both quality and speed in processing. The Associate will bring positive energy to the organization through professional communication, efficient effort, attention to detail and working in a team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Product Assembly Assembly of an entire product or component of a product using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates. Use prints or spec sheets, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, troubleshoot, rework, or reassemble units. Sets and operates a machine for the purpose of assembling, processing, or repairing individual products. Properly follows the established process and the process parameters. Keep work area, equipment, machines, clean and orderly at all times. Maintains supplies by checking stock, anticipating, and requesting supplies. Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Work at different stations as production needs require. Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards. Working conditions Work is performed in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment with substantial amount of interaction with employees, equipment, and customers. The warehouse area has continuous activity and a fair amount of noise which is normal. Physical requirements Significant amount of time spent standing and walking. Requires manual dexterity, normal vision, speaking, and hearing abilities. Ability to lift and stretch to interact with product and boxes of product weighing up to fifty pounds. Ability to climb picking stairs/ladders is essential to the position.
