Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk
Temp to Perm
Smyrna GA 6 Degrees Group Our client in Smyrna, GA is hiring three positions for the role of Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is centralizing its AP and AR operations in Atlanta. The role offers strong growth potential for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in transactional accounting within a collaborative and evolving finance environment. This is a 100% in-office position with potential for hybrid flexibility in the future.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices and apply cash receipts, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal procedures. Perform high-volume data entry in a highly manual, paper-driven environment and support month-end reconciliations. Maintain organized financial records and assist in collections and vendor inquiries. Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth transition of accounting operations from another location.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas). Comfortable working in a manual, paper-based environment with high transaction volumes. AP/AR experience is a plus but not required—open to entry-level candidates with a background in data entry or accounting education. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and complete thorough background and credit checks.
