Bookkeeper
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This role requires expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and the ability to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account management. The position is fully onsite and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while leveraging your bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring alignment with the general ledger.
- Assist with tax-related tasks by organizing, reviewing, and preparing necessary financial documentation.
- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage financial systems and generate detailed reports.
- Analyze financial data to support informed business decisions and reporting processes.
- Use advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise is required for this position.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use pivot tables, formulas, and perform data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with tax-related accounting tasks is a plus.
- An associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
