Duties:

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in financial report writing and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
• Utilize accounting software such as Thomson Reuters Accounting/Peachtree/Sage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll preparation, Quarterly Payroll Reporting, EFTPS payments, withholding payments, and Sales Tax.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2 year Associates Degree in Accounting or 3 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
• Proven experience in accounting role-minimum of 2-3 years.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as with team members.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Income Tax Preparation a plus
• 3 References required
