Accounts Receivable Specialist Position Available In Forsyth, Georgia

Job Summary:

firstPro is seeking an AR specialist to join a great hiring team in the Cumming, GA area. Open to more experience or a recent graduate looking to get their foot in the door in Accounting. Please apply if you feel you meet the qualifications.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers based on contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements. Accurately input billing information into the accounting system, ensuring all necessary details are included. Review contracts, pricing schedules, and other relevant documentation to ensure accurate billing. Process credit memos, debit memos, and other billing adjustments as needed. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) and external customers regarding billing matters. Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, both electronic and physical. Assist with the preparation of monthly billing reports and analysis. Ensure adherence to company billing policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations. Identify and recommend improvements to the billing process for increased efficiency and accuracy. Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries promptly and professionally. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager/AR Manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
