Accounts Payable Specialist Position Available In Fulton, Georgia

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is within the financial services industry and will involve a variety of accounting functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and utilizing accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately code, batch, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Update and reconcile the sub-ledger to the general ledger on a regular basis
• Research and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions in the accounts payable process
• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules to ensure timely payments
• Utilize functions such as V-Lookups and Pivot Tables in Excel to manage and analyze financial data
• Work with various accounting software systems including NetSuite, SAP and Sage as well as other ERP systems
• Participate in accounting tasks such as account reconciliations, auditing, and accrual accounting
• Ensure all accounts payable procedures are in line with automated clearing house (ACH) regulations
• Handle high volume processing of payables and manage the account coding process effectively
• Adapt to different working environments and situations as required by the role. Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar ERP is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is required.
• Auditing skills are necessary for this role.
