Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. This role is responsible for auditing patient account ledgers in our practice management system, Denticon, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, making necessary adjustments, and processing patient refunds in a timely and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular audits of patient account ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and payer requirements. Identify and investigate discrepancies, billing errors, or unapplied payments. Make necessary ledger adjustments and corrections within Denticon. Accurately process patient refunds and maintain detailed records of all transactions. Collaborate with billing, insurance, and front office teams to resolve account-related issues. Prepare audit reports and summaries for internal stakeholders as needed. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and all compliance standards.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in dental or healthcare billing, auditing, or revenue cycle management. Proficiency in Denticon is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of dental billing practices, payment posting, and patient account management. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
